Erlewein Mortuary Charitable Community Fund
Dane and BJ Erlewein, as well as the staff of Erlewein Mortuary, have actively supported charitable community programs and endeavors since
establishing their business in 1995. Businesses like theirs are regularly asked for donations for a variety of events and causes. True to their generous
nature, they will continue to support charitable community endeavors, but in a slightly different way. Erlewein Mortuary has now partnered with the Hancock
County Community Foundation to establish the Erlewein Mortuary Charitable Community Fund and will be directing all charitable support requests to the Community
Foundation.
In particular, Erlewein Mortuary is seeking to support projects that benefit our local community by enhancing its identity, supporting its
residents, and fostering a unifying sense of community and purpose. Programs that may be considered for support should address humanitarian endeavors,
education, arts and culture and youth.
"We are truly excited to work with the Hancock County Community Foundation to establish a charitable fund, which will allow us to give back to a
community that has given our family so much over the years. Mary Gibble and the staff at the Foundation made it so easy to establish the fund, and we look
forward to working with them to assist us with charitable giving for many years to come," said BJ Erlewein.
