2011 Scholarship Winners

Hancock County Community Foundation recently awarded 100 scholarships totaling over $118,500 to local high school seniors and adults who will be continuing their education at a college, university or trade school this fall. The Community Foundation works with generous donors to administer scholarships from 76 endowed funds, each with its own unique purpose and intent. Many of these scholarships were created in memory of a loved one or in honor of a special person to further the education of graduates of a particular high school, students in a particular field of study, or students who will attend a specific higher education institution. We thank these donors for their generosity in supporting the continued education of these students and for entrusting the Community Foundation to administer these scholarships.
